Before requesting a quote, please answer the following questions to help us find the perfect product for your needs.

1

WHAT SPACE DO I NEED TO DIVIDE?

If you need to divide a specific space, start by determining how many areas you want to create and their respective volumes. Carefully assess the existing space, considering elements such as windows, columns, furniture and anything else that could impact the installation or movement of the partition wall.

Ensure that the newly created spaces are properly equipped with the necessary services to support their intended activities.

Lighting? Air conditioning? Electricity? These considerations could influence both the functionality and appearance of the divided space.

2

WHAT SUPPORT STRUCTURES DO I NEED?

The installation of most types of operable partitions depends on the upper load-bearing structures of the building.

It’s important to evaluate the existing structures to identify any potential obstacles to anchoring or to determine whether additional support structures are required. Consulting an Oddicini professional is recommended to assess whether the structure can adequately support an operable partition wall. If the load-bearing structure is found to be inadequate, self-supporting versions are available. These models are designed to transfer part of the total weight to the floor, thus reducing the load on the building’s structure.

3

HOW MANY OPERABLE PARITITION WALLS DO I NEED?

Determine how many partitions are required and estimate their approximate dimensions. An Oddicini representative will assist you in accurately assessing the number and size of partitions needed for your space.

4

WHAT TYPE OF ACTIVITY WILL BE CARRIED OUT IN THE SPACE?

Answering this question will help us to determine the required level of acoustic performance. For instance, a school classroom typically requires less sound insulation than a concert hall.

Keep in mind that the higher the demand for soundproofing, the more costly the operable partition wall will be.

A high level of soundproofing is often requested without taking into account the overall acoustic insulation of the area as a whole.

5

HOW MUCH SPACE IS NEEDED TO INSTALL AN OPERABLE PARTITION?

The position of the Parking Area can heavily affect the final lay-out of an operable partition

Pick the area/s where the partitions’ elements are going to be stacked when not in their working-position These are usually located at one of the two partition’s ends. If enough room isn’t available, the partition’s elements can be moved to a dedicated Parking Area for their collection, using additional rail-tracks

6

DO I NEED SPECIAL FINISHINGS?

Verify the safety requirements the project needs to comply – including the necessary Fire Reaction & Resistance classes, the number and dimensions of pass-doors, if any safety-exit is required, along with the applicable Standards of reference
